The Abode of Sri Raghavendra Swami — The Saint of Miracles and Compassion

“The purpose of life is to serve, to give, and to surrender to God with unwavering faith.”
— Sri Raghavendra Swami

A Holy Land of Faith and Fulfillment

The Mantralaya Centre, located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in Andhra Pradesh, is a sacred pilgrimage site built around the Brindavan (samadhi) of Sri Raghavendra Swami, one of the most revered saints in the Dvaita Vedanta tradition. Known for his miracles, selfless service, and compassionate grace, Raghavendra Swami continues to bless devotees even centuries after entering Jeeva Samadhi.

Mantralaya is not merely a physical place — it is a living field of divine energy, where faith is answered and prayers are fulfilled.

Who Was Sri Raghavendra Swami?

Born in the 16th century as Venkatanatha, Sri Raghavendra Swami was a brilliant scholar, philosopher, and deeply spiritual soul. He became the pontiff of the Sri Mutt (Madhva tradition) and transformed it into a center of scriptural learning, devotion, and public service.
In 1671, he entered Jeeva Samadhi at Mantralaya, promising his devotees:
“I will be present here for 700 years, protecting and blessing all who seek me with faith.”
