Om Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Babaya Namaha.
My name is N.S. Srinivasan. I am 81 years old and I live with permanent and total blindness in both eyes. My legs are fragile, my body is limited—but my spirit remains anchored in Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who drew my attention more than three decades ago. Since then, Swami’s teachings have been my guiding light, drawn from the Puranas, Vedas, and Upanishads, but simplified so profoundly that even someone like me can understand and absorb them.
Despite my physical limitations, the inspiration to build this website emerged from my love for Swami’s teachings and my desire to share His wisdom in a way that is simple, direct, and spiritually uplifting. This offering would not have been possible without the devotion, strength, and support of my daughter Suba Srinivasan. I offer my heartfelt prayers to Swami to bless her always.
I was born into a family rich in devotion, strength, and sacrifice. The greatest spiritual influence in my early life was my mother, Muthu Lakshmi (a.k.a. Subadhra Shanker). A deeply bhakti-oriented soul, she lived a life of prayer, mantras, and slokas—even in the face of financial hardship. Her divine presence and remarkable departure from this world—where she briefly returned to tell us “I was with Swami” before peacefully passing again—left a lifelong imprint on all of us. My late wife, Parvatham, shaped our family's spiritual journey profoundly. I am forever grateful for her role in raising our daughters with devotion and discipline.
Suba chants the Lord’s name continuously and sings bhajans with devotion. Her strength during illness brought me closer to Swami.
Priya practices yoga daily and has explored Buddhist teachings.
Lalitha meditates faithfully each morning and is also a gifted bhajan singer.
For over 40 years, I have been associated with the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Centre in Edmonton. That satsangam and association with good souls has enriched my spiritual journey.
Swami once said, “Life is a challenge—meet it. Life is love—share it. Life is a dream—realize it.” With this website, I humbly share my devotion and understanding of His teachings. My life, with all its challenges, has been made meaningful through His grace.
This page is not about my story—it's about His Story through me. May these offerings serve as a small act of seva (service) to Swami and to all those who seek spiritual truth. Sai Ram. - N.S. Srinivasan
